AUX LIGHTING AND SAS PANELS

The Auxiliary Lighting Control Panel has a brightness dial for the refuelling and indexer lights, a switch to control the Night Vision Imaging System and the Signal Light Test Button.

The Stability Augmentation System (SAS) Panel enhances control in both pitch and yaw. It helps to provide coordinated turns, pitch and yaw rate dampening, pitch trim compensation, and makes the A10C a more stable aircraft to fly. The one element not modelled in this panel build is the automatic disengagement of SAS channels in the event of hydraulic power loss. Magnetically held switches may be installed into this panel (in the future)as an upgrade to address this.
