Simpit definition – “An environment designed to replicate a vehicle cockpit”
I have chosen to replicate the vehicle cockpit of the A10C Warthog using the military (study) sim by DCS (Digital Combat Simulator).
I wanted somewhere to document its development for both my reference and the community.
Many pits are designed around aircraft, although the term is equally valid for other vehicle cockpits, i.e. train, car, space craft. In the future I would like to explore cockpit building for a number of vehicle types including the Apollo command module (CSM) and Lunar Module (LEM) – to replicate the moon landings.
